Building History
Originally built in 1886 as a private residence. In 1922 enlarged and the first two floors converted into a women's gown shop. From 1922 until 2000 the building provided commercial space for several small businesses. In November 2000, Mark Hagopian conceptualized and designed the space to be converted into a 33-room boutique hotel. The acquisition and development of the hotel took 14 months and cost over five million dollars.

In November 2004 the hotel acquired additional space on the lower level and first floor of the building. Completed in November 2005, the two million dollar renovation added 7 additional hotel rooms, a new hotel reception area in the 1st floor lobby, and a stylish modern cocktail lounge and patio.
