What are the most common guest issues? Buyer Beware!
We find that very few people are disappointed with their guest experience at the Charlesmark. However, most disappointment stems from consumers' unfulfilled expectations because they fail to carefully examine our entire website in detail before they arrive. So, please review the website and call us with any questions. Please choose a different hotel if the following issues will cause you to be disappointed:
*Size of Guest Rooms - very stylish and functional but not large
* City Noise - occasional sirens, delivery/trash removal trucks - if you're a light sleeper, we recommend you stay outside the city
* Small Closets in Standard Rooms (48" H x 16" W x 30" D)
* Limited Complimentary Continental Breakfast
* View from some Guest Rooms not "scenic" - some windows face brick row houses and residential alleys

Check-in is at 3PM and check-out is at 12NOON
What do I need in order to check-in?
Upon check-in, we require a government issued photo ID and an active credit card that will authorize for the total amount of room and tax, plus $100 for each night. Unfortunately, we do not except cash deposits; however, guests may settle the final bill by paying with cash upon check-out.
Do you allow smoking on property? In the rooms?
The Charlesmark is a 100% non-smoking hotel
How much do you charge for high speed/wifi internet access?
Wireless High-Speed internet access is complimentary for hotel guests
Do you have high-speed wired and/or wireless internet access available? Only wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel and guestrooms.
Do you have a fitness center?
Not on site. Please see the Front Desk agent to purchase a $15 day pass at the Boston Sports Club which is 1 1/2 blocks away from the hotel.
Do you offer room service?
No. All guest rooms have Dining Delivery guides with 25+ options. Or you may choose to eat at the Charlesmark Lounge & Martini Bar serving authentic Thai food (1st floor).
Do you have a business center? What are the hours?
We do have a business center available 24 hours for your use. It includes 2 PC's with access to a printer.Do you have a Pool? We do not have a pool at the hotel. The hotel Front Desk offers a $15 day pass to The Boston Sports Club which has a pool and extensive fitness center ( 1.5 blocks from the Charlesmark)
Do you have a spa?
No. There are several spas we recommend within a 5-10 minute walk. Please contact the Front Desk for additional information. TRANSPORTATION
How do I get to the hotel?

No. The Charlesmark is less than 4 miles from Boston's Logan Airport. Transportation from the airport includes taxi service and the 'T' (Boston's underground subway system - $2 - 35 minutes). Taxi fare ranges from $28-$32, and is a 15-30 minute ride (no traffic). See Charlesmark Hotel Directions & Parking page for transportation options and instructions from the Airport.

Will your rooms allow rollaways/cribs/playards?
Rooms are small but efficient. We offer Pack-N-Play small cribs for infants.
I booked on a website other than the hotel website and I need to make a change to my reservation. How do I do this?
You must contact the website with whom you originally made the reservation. We can not change or edit third party website reservations.
What is the minimum age requirement to check-in to the hotel?
18 years of age with valid license or passport, or accompanied by parent.
What is your cancellation /deposit policy?
If booked directly through the Hotel, we have a 48 hour prior to arrival cancellation policy on most reservations. You must cancel by 3 pm Eastern time 2 days prior to check-in to avoid penalty. On certain reservations a special cancellation may apply. If booked through a third party, please contact the booking agent directly for cancellation policies.
Is my ID/passport required at check-in?

Do you have an early departure fee?
Any early departures or late cancellations (less than 48 hrs notice) will be charged for a one night stay room and tax.
What are the hours of the Charlesmark Lounge?
Open 7 nights per week at 5:00 PM for cocktails and Thai food

Are pets allowed?
No pets are allowed.
I want flowers/chocolates/champagne/gifts sent to the room. How do I do this?

Do you offer meeting space at the Charlesmark Hotel?
We do not have formal meeting space, however, we do have an area in the 1st floor lounge with a few small tables and chairs that is free for guest use during the day.
